Hello everybody,
Welcome to my personal blog. As most of you know, my name Frans van der Meijde. I am a 21 years old graduate in Communication and Multimedia Design and grew up in The Hague, Holland.

During my study Communication & Multimedia Design at The Hague University of Applied Sciences I developed myself into a Internet Marketing expert. In the major part I’ve done several projects in the field of Online Marketing like E-Mail marketing, Findability, Search Engine Optimization, Usability and Interaction Design. The minor part of my study I spent on different webdevelopment and design projects.

Next to interest for online marketing a have a big passion for sports and traveling. I have played korfball since my 5th by KV Die Haghe in The Hague. During my highschool period I have a played twice for the Dutch national championship (<13 and <15) in 2002 and 2005 but both times without reaching the final. Last 3 seasons I played in the 3rd team. Except playing matches I have my referee qualification and coached several (youth)teams.

This blog is primary intended to write about my travels to keep my family and friends up to date. As a child I have always been interested in traveling and holidays. Besides from visiting different beach resorts in Europe as a child my first far journey was in 2008 to the USA, where I have visited Florida, New York, Philadelphia, Washingtong D.C. and the Niagara Falls. Except traveling in the U.S. were Thailand and Russia one of my most impressive travels.
